FAQ (Help)

Q: What do we sell?
A: The name suggests we sell food. This is far from the truth. There is furniture, books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, clothes and an assortment of goods also being sold by us on big name sites like Facebook, Amazon, Ebay, Gumtree, Vinted to name a few. We want to co-mingle ads here but are afraid those items on this site would confuse people.

Q: Is your food short date?

A: Very rarely if ever, I don't like to play that game. All food we sell is strong and in-date. We have a small offering of short and out-of-date to compete with short-date traders, but we don't want to sell stale, discoloured, old, dented goods. We had 240 bottles of UHT Fuel10K milkshakes and they sold well and tasted great, but it reached a point we had to trash 15% as it turned sour. The profit was so low I doubt we profited at all. We may not continue competing in the arena of out-of-date. If clients want to skip-dive for food they can go visit such dealers.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We take cash, cheques (with guarantee card or known clients), cards, bank transfer (BACs), PayPal [except when tobacco and/or alcohol is in the cart], old notes & coins (£1, £5 and £10). Our bank accepts active foreign currency notes (Do you have travel money left?) & Health Start® for allowed purposes ONLY.

Q: How quick do you deliver?
A: Our delivery aim is same-day within 4 working hours of order. We're running 2 runs Mon-Friday 9-5 and 1 run on Sat-Sun 9-11. We have families and want to spend time with them in the evening.

If you accept liability and pre-pay you can also specify a "hiding place". Your order will be placed in a garbage bag and hidden where you say.

Q: How much is your delivery charge?
A: We are offer free delivery to Plymouth. Anything outside that zone must pay national shipping rates and must pre-pay. This company can't afford to delivery a single can of drink or a Rizla at midnight. Free delivery is possible because in 30 drops on a 15 mile run means homes are 800 yards apart. A special delivery from Cattedown to the Tamar Bridge is 13 miles round-trip.

Q: Are you aware XYZ shop sells this same product pennies cheaper?
A: Yes/no. Their cheaper price may not include free local delivery and that is worth time, fuel, parking fees and other charges. We are all for you saving money so do what you think is best. If it is better for you jump in the car, the bus or walk. Manufacturers play pass the parcel with promotions and it just isn't our turn this week.

Q: Why do we sell energy drinks to minors?
A: At this writing the UK government nor trading standards have age restriction but are threatening. Therefore we feel it is age discrimination and wrong to impose our will on individuals who can act and think for themselves.

Parents or parentis locum can deny sale at the door, this is different.

We suggest there are a series of 250ml cans on this site, IE Euro Shopper energy drinks. These would be cheaper on a minor's allowance plus the grams of sugars and caffeine would be halved without wastage.

If you consider a minor's body weight is probably 33%-50% of an adult it may make sense to consume half of 500ml.

Monster produce a 250ml can series but I don't list them because they're very expensive.

Monster and the generic brands produce a sugar free series. Click here to view them. This would give taste without sugar but there is a debate with artificial sweeteners. The caffeine levels will still be the same.
